
Aditi Bhattacharjee is an Indian writer and translator based in New York.
She graduated with degrees in Engineering and Marketing after which she worked in the financial markets for many years. In 2022 she pivoted into literary arts graduating with an MFA in Creative Writing from The New School. Her work has received Honorable Mention for the Paul Violi Prize at The New School, shortlisted for The Prose Poems’s Spring Short Prize and been nominated for Best New Poets, Best of the Net and Pushcart Prize 2024. Her debut poetry collection Daughterling was a finalist for the 2025 Orison Prize in Poetry. She has worked as a programs manager at A Public Space and currently co-organizes the monthly River Reading Series which focuses on community curation, opening dialogues across voices, languages and traditions.
