Aditi Bhattacharjee is an Indian poet, writer and educator, currently based in New York.
She graduated with degrees in Engineering and Marketing after which she worked in the financial sector for many years. In 2022 she decided to take a break to pursue her other passion, writing. Her work appears in Sky Island Journal, Evocations Review, Greyhound Journal, SLAB, The Alipore Post, Lunch Ticket Magazine, Pile Press, Curlew New York and elsewhere.
Most recently her poems have received Honorable Mention for the Paul Violi Prize, Shortlisted for The Prose Poems’s Spring Short Prize and been nominated for Best New Poets 2024. She holds an MFA in Creative Writing from The New School.
She is a writing mentor at Girls Write Now. When not reading, she likes to travel and indulge in urban photography.
